Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as hachured circular enclosure (diam. c. 30m), and named 'Friar's Garden'. In pasture, uphill from, and to N of Kilquane church and graveyard (CO042-06804; CO042-06803-). Levelled; no visible surface trace. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997).
