What is recorded here

Francis Conyngham was born in Dublin in 1797, the second son of a marquess and the infamous last mistress of King George IV. That bloody parental collision produced a quiet man who spent decades moving postbags and palace chairs for Whig prime ministers. He died in London in 1876, having converted royal scandal into respectable public service.
