This blue commemorative plaque records: Fox's Glacier Mints made in Leicester since 1895 and manufactured on this site 1923-1965. In 1965 production transferred to Braunstone, Leicester where Nestle still produces them to the traditional recipe Recorded plaque organisation: Leicester City Council.
Fox's Glacier Mints are a iconic British mint candy, first produced in Leicester in 1895; their long-standing manufacture and enduring popularity have made them a symbol of confectionery heritage.
