Semi-detached four-bay two-storey house, built c. 1840, having projecting crenellated end-bays to front (south) elevation and single-bay single-storey crenellated entrance block to east elevation. Hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves and timber brackets. Rendered walls. Recessed square-headed openings to end-bays having replacement uPVC windows and painted sills throughout. Square-headed opening to entrance block with overlight and timber panelled door. Flight of rendered steps to entrance. Pair of round-profile piers to east having square-profile cast-iron piers with double-leaf spear-headed cast-iron gates.

Built as a one of a pair, this house retains much of its original form. One of the few castle-style buildings in Cobh, the houses form a pleasing, interesting composition in the landscape.
