What is recorded here
In 1462 it is recorded that 'Tomas son of Cathal O Fergail . . . was killed at Pallas Ford, by night, while pursuing his own prey, by a party of the Dillons' (Ann. Conn., 512). This ford was on the Inny River but its precise location has not been identified.
