Footbridge over the river Cennen, east of the castle is a castle, fort or tower in Sir Gaerfyrddin / Carmarthenshire, Wales. Perhaps the bridge spanned a narrow gap where castle shadows stretched across the water at dusk. Maybe travellers crossed it with carts, packs or fears, knowing the fort watched from above. Imagine the planks trembling under hooves while the river whispered beneath, tying human urgency to ancient stone.
