What is recorded here

Clear water still touches the inside of the circular stone, though the font has left Kilshine and come to breathe beside the tower at St. Columba’s. Its three short legs hold it low enough for a child's hand, yet it carries the shape of an older church into the graveyard air.
The circular font (ext. diam. 0.63m; int. diam. 0.43m; H 0.61m; D 0.25m) with three short legs from the church of Kilshine (ME012-038----) (Roe 1968, 121-2) is now in the graveyard (ME017-044034-) at St. Columba’s Church of Ireland church, in Kells, close to the tower.
