Dowth, Monknewtown, and Font (present location) in Monknewtown belong to one regional arc. The named items and places must remain visible in the story.

At the front of St. Mary's Roman Catholic church in Monknewtown is a font (ME019-018----) from the old church at Monknewtown (ME019-019----) and a font which was moved here from the parish church at Dowth (ME020-019----). The font from Dowth is an octagonal stone (dim 0.75m; H 0.52m) tapering towards the base with a circular basin (diam. 0.57m; D 0.17m) that has a wavey rim, rising to peaks at the angles, but it lacks a drain-hole (Roe 1968, 124-5).
