Coghlanstown church gave up its circular granite font before the new building rose, dragging sacred memory across County Kildare to settle at the northwest corner of Ballymore Eustace East. Children may have circled its shallow basin while adults pretended not to watch, certain that water carried more than washing. The font still fits human hands, but it has answered two churches and belongs fully to neither.

According to Bradley et al. (1986, vol. 1, 80), it lies in a graveyard (KD029-011004-) at the NW corner of a 19th-century church. A circular granite font (ext. diam. 0.75m; H 0.50m; int. diam. 0.55m; D of basin 0.27m). The font is said to have been moved here from Coghlanstown church (KD029-005001-).
