In pasture, adjacent to spring. Horseshoe-shaped mound of burnt material (18m N-S; 18m E-W; H 2.2m); opening (Wth 3.5m) faces S. Cattle track has severed the 'arms' of the opening from the mound. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 4: North Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2000).
