Flat cemetery in Oldcastle Upper,oldcastle Lower is a vanished marker on County Kilkenny soil. Three cists holding cremated remains appeared there in 1936, then disappeared again before anyone could study them properly. The dead gave up their bones to men with tools, and the men gave the bones back to forgetfulness. What is left is a hole in the story, not a hole in the ground.
