What is recorded here

Five stones still stand in Brougher, County Fermanagh, perhaps marking a burial chamber from the prehistoric dark. They defy easy classification, resisting the temptation to call them merely a tomb or merely a boundary. That uncertainty belongs to them. People may have gathered there to honour the dead, witness the seasons, or simply mark the edge of known land. The stones remain clear even when their purpose blunts.
