Fish Loughan Mound is an archaeological place in County Derry, Ireland. Perhaps Anglo-Norman soldiers built it during the late 12th or early 13th century invasion. Maybe they watched the land from its height while wondering if they would ever leave. Imagine the mound standing silent long after those soldiers forgot the shape of their own fear.
Possible motte of the Anglo-Norman invasion period (late 12th or early 13th century?).
