What is recorded here

Murrooghkilly holds a vast multiperiod field system on a west-facing terrace above the Caher River valley, stretching nearly three hundred metres across rough grazing and rock outcrop. Prehistoric and medieval hands may have shaped its boundaries, layering human intention into the same stone while the river carried life past the base of the cliff. The fields did not appear as a single finished picture; they accumulated, changed and survived, allowing people to measure ownership, memory and belonging against the horizon.
