On level improved pasture with extensive field clearance to the E and good views of the Aran Islands to the W. A poorly preserved cashel (27.2m E-W; c. 27m N-S) defined by a stone wall from E to NW and by a scarp from NW to E. Field clearance material has been dumped on the enclosing wall which is heavily overgrown. A modern gap (Wth 0.9m) at SSE is defined by two short lengths of modern drystone wall (H 1.2m; Wth 0.6m) and may be the site of the original entrance. Some outer facing-stones are visible immediately W of this entrance. A house lies partly on the line of the enclosure at NW and a septic tank has been dug in the SE sector of the interior.
