Field system in Inchicloon

In rough heather-clad hill pasture, on a W-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. The remains of mainly curvilinear stone walls (T 0.55m; H 0.45m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog and suggest fields of varying shapes and sizes in an area measuring c. 380m NW-SE x c. 180m NE-SW. Rubble is embedded in the bog downslope from the walls. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
