Field system in Carrowmore (kilmaine By.,moorgagagh Par.)

In reclaimed pasture, to E and NE of a cashel (MA121-123001-). In a 1983 field report 'a number of rectilinear enclosures outlined by low banks of earth and stone', and were interpreted as 'part of an old field system.' (SMR file, 1983). Recorded by Lavelle (1994, 51, no. 332) as follows: 'In reclaimed pasture, possibly associated with cashel.
