Tony Miller found a thirty-metre stone line cutting through boggy grazing near Shehy Beg, its single row rising half a metre from the turf. The boundary abuts a rock face at one end and drops away at the other, marking a forgotten field edge preserved beneath rough grass. Someone placed those stones long before the land became wild, drawing a straight limit across the terrace while the surrounding ground sank into moisture.
This relict field boundary was reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland by Tony Miller on the 10th of December 2014. He describes it as follows: "A relict field boundary running north- south for c. 30m across a level terrace of ground c. 100m west of a stream. It is in a drier area of otherwise boggy, rough grazing. It is c. 0.5m wide with a maximum height of 0.6m with the single line of stones rising from beneath the turf. To the north it abuts a rock face and to the south it ends at the edge of a drop down to another level area.''
