Field boundary in Rossard

In rough hill pasture, on an uneven area of a N-facing slope. A network of collapsed drystone field walls (T 0.65m; H 0.5m) protrude above the surface of the bog and meander over an area measuring c. 180m x c. 120m. A heritage walk extends through this area. There is a hut site (KE101-120001-) in the immediate vicinity, to the N of the relict walls. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
