Enclosure in Baurearagh (glanarought By., Banawn Ed)

In rough pasture, in a narrow mountain valley, on the SE bank of a tributary of the Baurearagh River. A D-shaped area (2.7m E-W) defined by a curving drystone wall (T c. 0.65m; H 0.3-0.6m) with a straight E side (L 7m) formed by the vertical face of outcropping rock. The wall is collapsed with only the lower course stones protruding above the bog. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
