What is recorded here

In cutaway bog in an undulating area of rock and scrubland to N of the Owenabrickany River. A short length of pre-bog wall (L c. 6m), running N-S, which disappears into a turf bank at N end. Built of large limestone blocks. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. I - West Galway'.
