Field boundary in Maulagowna

In rough hill pasture, on a NW-facing slope, SW of a small river, overlooking the valley of Lough Inchiquin. Collapsed drystone field walls (T 0.6m; H 0.7m) occur in an area measuring c. 150m SW-NE x c. 80m NW-SE. Large stones protrude above the surface of the bog. Some of the stones are set at right angles to the line of the wall while others are contiguous. A recent field system is visible within the area.
