Field boundary in Lecarrow (murrisk By.)

Situated on open undulating common- age to N of the escarpment at Leck, associated with a possible hut (MA085-068----) and a house (MA085-069----) that are situated at the southern foot of a locally prominent hillock. Two separate lengths of wall are visible, as follows: a) c. 25m upslope (to N) of the hut (MA085-068----), a ruinous wall extends southwards from the base of the hillock following a NNW–SSE course before petering out after 9m; b) running off from the eastern end of the house (MA085-069----) a ruined wall occurs that traceable for c. 16m on a NNE–SSW axis. At its south-south-western end it peters out close to an old turf stack. However, immediately to S of same the presence of a slight break of slope and occasional boulders appear to indicate the continuation of the wall, curving off southwards towards the Green Road on a roughly NE–SW axis (L c. 37m).
