What is recorded here
Located in a broad, flat expanse of cutaway bog, which stretches c. 400m to NE and E to the shores of Killaturly Lough. Ground rises to NW. A possible pre-bog field wall was noted in this cut-away bog (pers. comm. F. McCann, 1991). No visible trace; its exact location in the bog remains uncertain.
