Field boundary in Gortlicka

In rough pasture, on a W-facing slope, overlooking the valley of the Dromoghty River. The remains of a stone wall (T 0.7m; H 0.6m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the shallow bog and run upslope to the E for c. 90m, curve to the S for c. 30m and then run out. Collapse from the upper courses is embedded in the bog beside the wall. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
