Field boundary in Drom North

In rough hill grazing, on a mantle of blanket bog of varying depth, on an E-facing undulating slope. A stretch of a relict stone field boundary (T 0.6m; H 0.5m) extends in an ENE direction for c. 60m where it abuts another relict wall. The latter wall meanders in a NNW-SSE direction for a distance of c. 100m, terminating c. 7m to the W of a hut site (CO115-137004-). Only the base courses of the relict wall, which protrude from the blanket bog (D 0.2-0.5m), survive. Intermittent gaps occur along both stretches of relict field boundary.
