Field boundary in Derrysallagh

In rough hill pasture, on a break of a NW-facing slope, overlooking Cummer Lough and the valley of the Dromoghty River. A section of a N-S wall (T 0.6m; H 0.3m) originates at a cliff edge and curves gently upslope to the S for c. 32m where it disappears into deeper bog. The wall protrudes above the surface of the bog and is partly grass covered. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Kerry.
