What is recorded here
Only 14m N of a pre-bog field wall (LE011-167) in an area ofcut-away bog stands an upright stone (H 0.85m) which appears to bepart of a pre-bog field wall the foundations of which are still visible.Several large boulders forming a row either side of the upright stone appear to tbe the remains of a pre-bog field wall. This field wall appears to intersect with a second pre-bog field wall (LE011-167) located 14m to the S.The two field walls togther may suggest the remains of a pre-bog field system underneath the uncut bog.
