Field boundary in Cahernaman

This bog-covered plateau overlooks Kells Basin to N from a W spur of Been Hill. In a small peat-cutting a wall runs NE-SW for a distance of 21m. It is composed of intermittent uprights, boulders and slabs set on edge; it averages .5m high. A shorter stretch of a similarly constructed wall runs at right angles to SE.
