Field boundary in Bunnamohaun

Siting straddling a stream on the southern flank of Knockmore: it lies to N of the stream on a steep S-facing mountain slope. It consists of a straight but ruined length of drystone wall (L c. 150m) running on a NW–SE axis. What is visible is a linear jumble of bleached and lichen-covered stones and small boulders protruding through the sod (Wth c. 1.4m × H 0.5m max.). A number of gaps are apparent in its line. Its upper reaches are more heavily mantled in sward, and it simply peters out at this end. At the lower end it terminates in a loose scatter of stone on the north-eastern bank of an old dry channel of the stream that now flows along a younger channel slightly further to W.
