What is recorded here

Thirty years of wind and rain have sanded the wall to a whisper, yet it still curves through the bog like a sentence half-remembered. Twenty feet of stone, no taller than a child’s knee, marking the edge of someone’s field before the water forgot the name. The cairn stands five metres north, waiting to be counted; the wall waits to be seen. What is measured is not size but continuity: a line drawn by human hands, still drawing.

Described by Quinn and Carroll (2010) as ‘a low stone wall located in bogland 5m to S of Radial Stone Cairn (14). Wall curves from W to E and then from E in a NE direction. It consists of a random uncoursed wall surviving to only 1 course high and wide and is largely overgrown. Length 42.5m, Width 0.6m, Height 0.2m.'
