Double rings of upright boulders mark the vanished cashel in Tullira pasture, a twenty-four-foot circle where human hands shaped stone before forgetting took the name. The underground passage beside it suggests the fort did not end at the visible wall but continued downward, hidden from ordinary sight. What is lost is not the same as gone; the ring still holds its shape, waiting for someone patient enough to listen for the difference.

In level pastureland. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 288, no. 67) as circular 'Earthen fort' defined by a denuded bank (Wth 3.6m; H 0.9m). On inspection all that was visible was an overgrown double ring of boulders set on edge; probably the foundations of a cashel wall (diam. 24.4m).
