Dunderg, Dunmoyle and Dungibbon stood on lofty rocks at Streamstown, a small cluster of stone defences overlooking the land. Dunderg still wears its ancient wall while the other two have surrendered their stones to time or people. The rock ledge still holds the shape of that lost company, waiting for a climber to imagine the hands that built them.

Petrie (1972, 253) refers to '3 cahers called Dunderg, Dunmoyle and Dungibbon...at Streamstown...all situated on lofty rocks' Only one of these, Dunderg (GA022-070----), survives but the sites of the other two appear to have been situated c. 120-150m to N and NNE of it.
