Clearing conifer, not fairy legend, may have stripped the visible wall. The facts above name a coniferous forest, a grass-covered circular area, a stone spread, an interrupted wall, a possible entrance, an attached rectangular house site, a robbed or accumulated perimeter, and a collapsed central passage. They do not say whether the site is medieval, older, or a reused boundary within a managed woodland. The conifer may have grown around it, been planted after it, or hidden it from ordinary notice until survey and cutting changed what could be seen.

Located at the bottom of a W-facing slope in a coniferous forest. This is a grass-covered circular area (int. diam. 28m E-W; 27m N-S) which remains unplanted defined by a stone spread (Wth 1.7-3m; max. H 1m) with the intermittently visible facing-stones of a wall (at S: Wth 2m). There is a possible entrance (Wth 1.8m) at SE, and a rectangular house site (int. dims 7.3m x 1.7m) is attached to the outer face of the perimeter at NE. The material of the perimeter has been robbed ESE-SE and accumulated as a cairn against the inner face of the wall SE-S. A collapsed Man-made underground passage is visible at the centre as a sunken area (dims. 4m x 2m) with some stone defining its edge.
