Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Rue is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Rue, County Sligo, Ireland. A raised circular area, about 33.5 metres north to south and 30 metres east to west, is defined by a drystone wall on the south to north-north-west and by an earthen bank on the north to east topped by drystone wall foundations. An external flat-bottomed ditch survives on the south to north and north to east, with a counterscarp bank on the south to north, and a possible man-made underground passage lies in the south-west quadrant.

On level ground, bisected by a N-S road on the E side of which is the car park of St Attracta's cemetery. The remains of a raised circular area (diam. 33.5m N-S; 30m E-W) defined by a drystone wall (Wth 1.2m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 2m) S-NNW and by an earthen bank (Wth 5m; int. H c. 1m) N-E, topped by foundations of a drystone wall. The bank is levelled E-S to accommodate an extension to the cemetery. An external flat-bottomed fosse (Wth 6m; D 1.3m) is evident S-N and N-E. A counterscarp bank (Wth 2.5m; int. H 1.1; ext. H 0.5m) is evident S-N. There is a possible Man-made underground passage (SL037-054002) in the SW quadrant. The cashel is covered with overgrowth.
