Rosslevan holds a stone ringfort because people built a defensible home there, not because fairies flew in from nowhere. The fairytale name comes later: humans invented magic to explain what they had stopped understanding. A cashel is a boundary drawn in stone, and boundaries require imagination as often as muscle.
