No visible doorway or marked entrance survives on the west-facing hillside in Ramooney, County Leitrim, only a shallow grass-covered stone ring about twenty-four metres across. That absence makes the place feel less like a ruined human home and more like a threshold forgotten by people, as if the boundary closed itself after the last witness left.

Located on the W-facing slope of a hill. Overgrown circular area (int. diam. 24.5m N-S; 23.5m E-W) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.8m; H 0.2-0.3m) reduced to a scarp at W.
