On a S-facing slope in a fairly sheltered area in rough pasture, within an extensive multiperiod field system (CL009-084001-). This small subcircular cashel (int. diams. 17.7m NE-SW; 15.3m NW-SE; ext. dims. 21m NE-SW; 20m NW-SE) is defined by a collapsed, double-faced wall (est. Wth 1.6m; max. int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.4-0.75m) and associated spill (combined Wth 4-8m). There are two small alcoves in the inner wall-face W. The S alcove (H 0.28m; Wth 0.25m; D 0.65m) is 1.6m away from the N alcove (H 0.35m; Wth 0.35m; D 0.75m). In the SSW centre of the cashel’s slightly undulating interior is a possible Man-made underground passage (CL010-047018-). There may also be remains of hut sites around the edge of the cashel interior, mostly covered by the cashel wall’s spill. Grass-covered field walls radiate from the cashel at ENE, SE and W. Just outside the NNW side of the cashel is a hut site (CL010-047019-). There is a fulacht fia (CL010-211----) c. 57m to the SE and a hut site (CL010-278----) c. 108m to the SSW.
