Magic is not dead, only dormant. The chamber remembers every living body that entered it. Human fear or desire gives the chamber shape. The chamber gives back memory, vision or transformation. What it returns depends on the clarity of the person it meets.

On a rise in a S-facing slope of grass-covered limestone pavement in rough pasture, with lower ground to E, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). Hachured on the 1842 and 1920 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. This subcircular cashel (int. dims. 23.6m E-W; 22m N-S; ext. dims. 27.4m E-W; 25.5m N-S) is defined by a double-faced stone wall (Wth 1.5-2m; H 1.5-2m). The wall is composed of large, horizontally laid stones (L c. 1m; H 0.3m). Rubble (H 0.8-1.3m; Wth 2.3-3.6m) rests against both wall-faces around most of the perimeter, except at the N exterior. There is a vertical joint in the inner wall-face at E. Later entrances through the cashel wall are at WNW and S. Another cashel (CL009-059039-) lies c. 187m to the W.
