In rough pasture on the NW-facing slope of a karst plateau. Immediately to the NW, the ground falls away steeply to a NE-SW ravine which widens and deepens toward the NE to form the Kilcorney Valley. Within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-001001-). An oval cashel (int. dims. 11.7m NE–SW; 8.9m NW–SE; ext. dims. 15.8m NE–SW; 12.5m NW–SE) defined by a double-faced drystone wall (Wth 1.35m–2.2m; ext. H max. 0.8m; int. H max. 0.4m), with some long facing-stones (max. L 1.2m; T 0.4m; D 0.35m). There is a funnel-shaped entrance (ext. Wth 2m; int. Wth 1.7m) at the SE.
