Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Liscullaun (inchiquin By.)

Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

No visible trace remains at Liscullaun. The lost ringfort probably stood as a small defensive cashel, its stones perhaps stripped for newer walls or scattered by ploughs. People may have lived inside, watched the land, and forgotten the name within a few generations. What is missing is not emptiness; it is the ordinary fate of small places, absorbed back into the field.
