What is recorded here

Glenkeen in County Mayo holds a stone ringfort, a circular cashel built with unbroken human hands. It is not a fairy fort, despite the charming name, but a fortress shaped for living, defending and remembering. The stones may have belonged to farmers, fighters or priests, yet they still stand because people needed a place strong enough to trust.
