Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Glasha Beg,glasha More

Fairy fort and stone ringfort in Glasha Beg, glasha More, County Clare, Ireland: a circular platform, eleven metres across, defined by a scarp rising from ten centimetres at the north to one metre at the south, with collapsed stone spread one to two metres either side and a level interior. Two other cashels sit thirty-one metres east and fifty-four metres north-east, all locked inside a large multiperiod field system on rough pasture and outcropping limestone pavement. The name Fairy fort may be local story rather than fact, but the shape is not subtle: a made circle, repeated three times, set where livestock, weather and memory still move across the same stone.
