Mortons and others occupied or raided the D-shaped stone ring at Fawn, but the fairies kept the fort and punished greedy hands. The west ridge still holds a shallow grass bowl, a broken stone rim, and a sudden south drop that warns against chasing what the land refuses to explain.

Located on a rise towards the W end of a low E-W ridge. This is a grass-covered D-shaped area (dims 23.3m N-S; 22m E-W) defined by an overgrown stone spread (Wth 5m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.5m) SW-W-NE with evidence of facing-stones of a wall (Wth 1m). It is truncated by a N-S field wall at E and backs on to a severe downslope at S.
