Drumdoolaghty holds a stone ringfort where clipped walls still draw a tight circle across the field. It is the kind of place people once called a fairy fort, not to dismiss it but to admit that the living hand had let go. A family may have stood inside that circle, children chasing each other past stones worn smooth by rain and time. The fairies took the name because the humans stopped speaking it.
