What is recorded here

Mortons and Eamon, the fairies were everywhere. They had forts, they had armies, they had battles. Eamon knew this because he had seen their forts. He had seen their armies march. He had even watched one battle from a hilltop, sitting motionless while silver and shadow clashed below. What he had not understood until much later was that the fairies did not hide from people. They waited for people to stop seeing them.

Located towards the centre of a SE-facing slope. This is a grass and rush-covered circular area (int. diam. 26.5m NW-SE; 25m NE-SW) defined by a grass-covered and overgrown stone spread (Wth 4-5m; int. H 0.3m at NE to 1.2m at SW; ext. H 0.8-1m). There are slight traces of an external fosse (Wth 2m) and outer bank (Wth 2m) at E, but there is no identifiable original entrance. The monument is circumscribed by field walls.
