What is recorded here

No visible trace remains because the land was reclaimed, yet the measure endures: a circular stone fort roughly twenty-nine metres across, joined by two elliptical enclosures and a field system on a gentle south-facing slope. It is easy to imagine people moving through that small landscape, drawing a line between what they owned and what they left open to the sky. The earth removed the stones, but it did not erase the shape.

On a gentle S-facing slope. Classified by McCaffrey (1952, 225-6, no. 138) as a circular ‘Stone fort’ (diam. c. 29m) in a very ruinous condition with two elliptically shaped enclosures lying nearby to the N and E. No visible surface trace of any of these features survives due to land reclamation. A field system (GA104-117002-) was also associated.
