Cloghroak, County Galway. Thirty-nine metres of forgotten wall, flattened by plough and pride. What remains is a bruised arc of stone in grazing land, and a blocked passage waiting beneath the grass. The fort is gone but the shape is not; it still turns the field into a room.

In rough grazing land. Very poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 39.3m); all that survives is the arc of a collapsed drystone wall at W. The monument was levelled due to field clearance.
