What is recorded here

Carrowconlaun in Kilwullaun holds a worn oval cashel where a low drystone wall still marks the south edge while the rest has surrendered to grass. The fairies may have taken the visible stones, but they left behind a man-made underground passage within the interior, proving the fort was more than a child's game with rocks. That hidden chamber turns the ruined ring into a threshold: a place where human hands built, memory faded, and imagination stepped through the gap.

In gently undulating grassland. Poorly preserved oval cashel (N-S c. 41m, E-W c. 36m) defined by a low drystone wall at S, otherwise no visible surface trace survives.
