No entrance is visible anywhere on the grassy wall, yet a narrow passage cuts beneath the floor to link the hidden world below with the open sky above. The fort stands on a small hillock in County Leitrim, its oval chamber measuring twenty-six metres across and sixteen metres wide. What is hidden beneath may be the true room, while the grassy surface is only the lid.

Located on a hillock in an undulating landscape. This is a grass-covered oval area (int. dims 26m E-W; 16m N-S) defined by a low grass-covered wall (Wth 2.2m; int. H 0.2m; ext. H 1.2m). There is no identifiable original entrance. Man-made underground passage (LE010-011002-) is in the interior.
